Road to Ataturk Olympic Stadium

Here we go to the round of last 16. The knockout stage has started in the biggest club competition in Europe. The draws will be held on Monday to decide the fixtures of RO16. Road to the Ataturk Olympic stadium is getting nearer.

We saw many magical performances in the group stage. The teams that qualified as group winners are: FC Barcelona, FC Bayern Munich, PSG, Man City, Liverpool, Juventus, Valencia and Leipzig.
Others that qualified as runners-up of the group are: Real Madrid, Chelsea, Napoli, Dortmund, Lyon, Atalanta, Atletico Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur.


Let's hope for end to end stuff in the coming rounds. The 4 favorites for the semifinals for me are Liverpool, Juventus, FC Barcelona and FC Bayern Munich. Liverpool will be looking for their 3rd consecutive final and 2nd UCL in a row. Barcelona, on the other hand, have not seen the final for quite some time now. After millions spent in reinforcement of their squad, they still haven't been able to reach the finals. Bayern look quite sharp. Their attacking and defensive abilities are exquisite. And Juventus need to win the title more for CR7 than the fans and club. His challenge remains to be completed.
